REOPENING DATE AND FULL REFUNDS: We expect to reopen in late June or on Saturday 4 July depending if Government brings forward hotel reopening. We therefore invite bookings from 22 June onwards with a full refund guarantee if cancelled – ring Amanda our Reception Manager on 01566 86250 or book on our website www.JamaicaInn.co.uk All guests with pre-paid room bookings up to 31 May have already received full refunds or chosen to move their booking to later. We are now contacting all guests with bookings in early June offering a choice of a later booking or a full refund. That is Jamaica Inn’s policy which is unlike that of some other hotels we hear of!
SAFETY AND HYGIENE MEASURES: Jamaica Inn is in the South West that has the lowest Covid 19 infection rate in the UK, it is also high on remote Bodmin Moor and will have exceptional safety measures in place upon reopening making it one of the safest hotels to stay at in the UK. The measures include contactless check ins and contactless food ordering by optional phone App and table spacing using the Inn’s huge restaurant, bars, rear garden and front courtyard areas. There will also be optional room service for all meals, one-way use of corridors and landings wherever possible and hygienically cleaned bedrooms down to such detail as room keys being in your bedroom on arrival in a plastic bag having been certified as sanitised.
THE INN IS READY: Grass is cut, hedges trimmed, courtyard hanging baskets look beautiful, bars and restaurant cleaned and bedrooms refreshed and spotless even though no guests are staying in them. We look forward to seeing you soon.
