Dining

Jamaica Inn is open for food from 7.30am to 9.00pm and we use only the freshest and finest local ingredients whenever possible. The menu includes delights such as delicious steak pies, succulent gammon steaks, tasty fillets of salmon, vegetarian options and most weekends a hearty Sunday roast from 12 until 3.00pm. And don’t forget our daily ‘specials’ board.

Whether you just pop in for a warming coffee, a pint after a walk on the moors or are coming for an evening meal with friends, you will find our friendly staff will give you a warm welcome.

Delicious pre-packed picnics are also available to pre-order – 01566 86250 - perfect to take on your journey or maybe for a walk to Brown Willey the highest point in Cornwall some 2 ½ miles across Bodmin Moor (route available).

Food is served at the following times:

Breakfast: 7:30am – 10.30am
Lunch: midday – 3pm
Light Bites: 11am – 4pm
Cream teas: 11am – 5pm
Dinner: 5pm - 9pm

 

Opening time... Jamaica Inn is open from 7.30am, when breakfast is served to hotel guests and visitors, right through to midnight with dinner being served up to 9pm. The Museum is open from 8am to 9pm throughout the year and the Gift Shop and Farm Shop are open every day with times varying.
