Here's an opportunity to spot planets and star clusters at an event celebrating the exceptional dark night sky of Bodmin Moor, which was designated an International Dark Sky Landscape in July after a successful bid by Cornwall Council and Caradon Observatory.The dark sky evening on 21 October will be in two parts. Bodmin Moor wins Dark Sky status!

Exciting news: the application by Cornwall Council and Caradon Observatory has been successful and Bodmin Moor has been designated an “International Dark Sky Landscape” by the International Dark-Sky Association. This Saturday, the evening starts with a delicious 2 course dinner from 7pm for only £15.95 per person. Then from 9pm into the garden to enjoy the sights of our solar system.  This event is open to everyone and if you are not wanting to stay for dinner, you can arrive from 8.30pm to join in the free stargazing session.We are hosting this outreach event on behalf of Cornwall Council and...

Opening time... Jamaica Inn is open from 7.30am, when breakfast is served to hotel guests and visitors, right through to midnight with dinner being served up to 9pm. The Museum is open from 8am to 9pm throughout the year and the Gift Shop and Farm Shop are open every day with times varying.
