Jamaica Inn

Jamaica Inn responds

The Inn’s hotel will close on Monday 23 March, as will its two shops, following Government urging hotels to close, and also to help discourage visitors from coming to Cornwall at Easter and spreading the Covid-19 virus here.  The bars and restaurant have already closed.  Guests booked to stay in March and April are being contacted but reservations from 1 May onwards remain and will be reviewed nearer this date.

I know guests and the Inn’s staff are equally shocked by the rapid recent events. However, I believe in a few months the highly-resilient human race will beat this virus through its incredible and inventive scientists working 24/7 producing anti-viral drugs and then a vaccine. The Inn will again become second home to many resident-guests and the great place of work for its staff who will be supported through this difficult time.
