With Mothering Sunday this weekend, why not treat your Mum to a Sunday roast lunch here at Jamaica Inn and we will give her a posy of flowers!  A great way to show how much she means to you.

A quick update on the farm shop… we are now above ground – a happy sight for us all! Getting closer to the day we will open – hopefully May! Roof is being started next week - visual progress every day!

With roses around the Inn,and chocolates and prosecco in the rooms, love was definitely in the air on Valentine’s Day. The set 3 course menu in the evening was lovely with exquisite food – a credit to our head chef.

Another enjoyable evening of entertainment here at the Jamaica Inn. The actors did another wonderful job of acting out the murder for the guests to figure out the mystery. We had several correct guesses and the guests who attended thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We are looking forward to the next one on the 25^th March.

Fantastic night on Friday, with some lovely guests who really got their teeth into using our extensive range of equipment plus joining in our experiments. The Stickman in the Annexe was mind blowing. We even had a sceptical guest on their first ever Investigation feel their head being touched as the Stickman raised their arm and seemed to do that to him. The museum had some interesting activity. Also...

Don’t forget it’s all happening here at Jamaica Inn in February. Chinese New Year Monday 8^th, Pancake Day Tuesday 9^th, Ghost Hunt Friday 12^th, Murder Mystery Saturday 13^th and Valentines Sunday 14^th.  Also Jamaica Inn's very own quiz night every Wednesday starting on the 10^th February.

Starting on Wednesday 10th Feb Jamaica Inn are hosting a quiz night every Wednesday - different categories of questions and teams of up to 6 people. A great quiz-night atmosphere assured – questions firing, drinks flowing, chatting with friends all adds up to a perfect night out.

The farm shop is now well and truly underway. The builders are out there every day no matter what the weather. Here at the Inn we are looking forward to being able to provide local produce to both the locals and the travelling tourists.

The most exciting will be the grand opening of the new Farm Shop - opening in the Spring. Wonderful, local, fresh produce for all our locals and travelling tourists. On the 22nd Decemeber 2015 Jamaica Inn's kitchens had a routine inspection by a Cornwall Council's Enivronmental Health Officer and was awarded a 5* rating which is the highest score the Food Standards Agency can award.
